Belle Lumière facial treatment in progress
Health Account Payments

Pay with your HSA or FSA

Some of what we offer treats a medical skin condition, and some of it is simply cosmetic. We label both honestly, so you know what your health account can cover before you get to checkout.

HSA/FSA payment is being enabled and is not yet accepted at checkout.

How it works

Step 1

Choose qualifying items

Items that may qualify are marked throughout the site. Cosmetic items are marked too — so you know before you reach checkout, not after.

Step 2

Complete a short health review

At checkout you answer a brief health questionnaire through Truemed. A licensed provider reviews it independently of Belle Lumière.

Step 3

Receive a Letter of Medical Necessity

If the provider finds that the item treats a condition you have, they issue a Letter of Medical Necessity. If they do not, the purchase proceeds as a normal retail sale.

Step 4

Pay with your HSA/FSA card

You pay with your health account card and keep the itemized receipt we email you, together with the letter, as your substantiation record.

Eligibility is determined by a licensed provider, not by Belle Lumière. We cannot guarantee approval or reimbursement.

What qualifies, and what does not

Every item below is classified against IRS Publication 502, which allows expenses that diagnose, cure, mitigate, treat, or prevent a medical condition — and excludes expenses directed at appearance.

Eligible without extra paperwork

Recognized over-the-counter medical items. No Letter of Medical Necessity is normally required.

  • · Day Cream SPF 30

May be eligible with a Letter of Medical Necessity

Dual-use items — they have a genuine medical application and a cosmetic one. A licensed provider decides whether yours is medical.

Your records

Every order produces an itemized receipt showing each item, its price, the order reference, the purchase date, and our full business details. That is the document a plan administrator or the IRS will ask for.

Every receipt shows
  • · Seller: WGH Cosmetics LLC (trading as Belle Lumière Aesthetics)
  • · Address: 1033 Dresser Court, Raleigh, NC 27609
  • · Tax ID (EIN): 42-2945013
  • · Date of purchase and a unique order reference
  • · Each item by name, quantity, and price
  • · Amount paid and the payment method used

Your card statement and receipt will read WGH Cosmetics LLC, the legal entity behind Belle Lumière Aesthetics. Both names appear on the receipt so your plan administrator can match the two.

Common questions

Is my purchase guaranteed to be approved?

No. A licensed provider decides whether you qualify, and your plan administrator decides whether to reimburse. Belle Lumière Aesthetics makes neither decision and cannot promise either outcome.

Why are some facials and products marked as not eligible?

IRS Publication 502 excludes expenses that are directed at improving appearance without treating, mitigating, or preventing a medical condition. Our brightening, glow, and relaxation services fall under that exclusion, so we mark them plainly rather than let you assume otherwise.

What is a Letter of Medical Necessity?

It is a document from a licensed healthcare provider stating that a specific item or service treats a specific medical condition you have. It is what makes a dual-use item — something with both a cosmetic and a medical use — eligible for health account funds.

How much will I save?

It depends on your tax situation and your plan, and we cannot estimate it for you. Speak with your plan administrator or a tax professional.

What documentation do I need to keep?

Your itemized receipt and, where one was issued, your Letter of Medical Necessity. We include full line-item detail and our business details on every receipt so it stands on its own if you are asked to substantiate the expense.

What happens if I return an item I paid for with HSA/FSA funds?

The refund is returned to the same health account card used for the purchase. We cannot refund an HSA/FSA payment to a personal card or as store credit, because funds must return to the account they came from.

Can I use my HSA/FSA card for part of an order?

Yes. If your cart mixes qualifying and cosmetic items, you can split the payment so that only the qualifying portion is charged to your health account card.

Important disclosures

This information is provided for general education only. It is not medical, legal, or tax advice. Belle Lumière Aesthetics does not determine eligibility and does not guarantee that any purchase will be approved or reimbursed by your plan.

Plan rules vary. Confirm coverage with your HSA/FSA plan administrator before you purchase, and keep your itemized receipt for your records.

Under IRS Publication 502, expenses that are directed at improving appearance and do not treat, mitigate, or prevent a medical condition are not eligible medical expenses. Items marked as not eligible on this site fall into that category.

Keep your itemized receipt and, where one was issued, your Letter of Medical Necessity. If your plan administrator or the IRS requests substantiation, those are the documents you will need.

Truemed is for qualified customers. HSA/FSA tax savings vary.
